Derek Smith (Mobile: 416.428.3597) specializes in water color paintings. Growing up in England, Derek’s senior school years were spent at Tunbridge Wells School of Art. During his time with the Royal Air Force Derek became interested in technical illustration, eventually joining the Art Department of Hawker Sidey.
Derek later emigrated to Canada to work on the Avro Arrow. Derek, now retired, enjoys “telling landscape stories with his water colour brushes” through his detailed and vibrant watercolor scenes of the Canadian landscape and flora.
