Mapleton House Restaurant and Gift Shop sits majestically on a hillside near the hamlet of Hardwood Lake. The restaurant and gift shop is located in a “beautiful log building that will take your breath away!” Owners, Linda and Bevan McGarry are your cordial hosts who really enjoy meeting new people and valued customers alike.

Mapleton House Restaurant is fully licensed and can accommodate up to 150 people. A full menu of mouth watering choices ensures that there will be something to entice everyone who stops by for a home-cooked meal. Mapleton House is also an ideal choice for hosting large groups and special events. And of course, you will find some tasty Maple Syrup and Maple Syrup products that have been made right on the premises.

LOCATION

Mapleton Restaurant and Gift Shop is located at 3505 Highway 28 near Hardwood Lake and Palmer Rapids, Ontario, Canada. Mapleton House is approximately a 25 minute drive east of Bancroft; it is also about 25 minutes south of Barry’s Bay and approximately ten minutes north of Denbigh. You will enjoy some spectacular scenery enroute!

BUSINESS HOURS

Open 7 days a week in the summer.

Open Friday to Sunday the rest of the year.

  4. Join us for a Halloween Party Saturday October 27, 2007. Dance starts at 8:00 PM featuring “The Back Porch Pickers”. Prizes for the Best Dressed Couple and Best Costume tickets $5:00 at the door. And this is Saturday so that mean it’s Chicken & Rib night at Mapleton House. Come early!
