August 11, 2007 – 4:00 amMarie’s Country Crafts is a unique home-based business located in the pretty Village of Douglas, Ontario. Store owner, Marie Watson, has a wonderful assortment of teddy bears, county primitives and homespun crafts, many of which she makes herself.
Marie also has a line candles, soaps, prints, tole painted items and hand-painted glassware. You can order the glassware for special occasions such as anniversaries, weddings, birthdays and other special occasion. Marie will also make custom wooden items if you call ahead to discuss your ideas with her.
LOCATION
Located at 5179 Main Streen in Douglas, Ontario at the Highway 60 turn-off for Renfrew, Marie’s shop is tucked at the back of her property behind her home. Marie’s shop houses her amazing selection of country decor, plus acts as the workshop where she makes a lot of the wooden pieces herself.
