January 29, 2008 – 5:02 pmMarion Smyth of White Lake, Ontario, Canada is well known locally and internationally for her beautiful hand painted porcelain and china plus her wildlife paintings in acrylics and oils. Marion’s artwork includes delicate and realistic images of wildlife, domestic animals, pets and beautiful scenery. She also does intricate, detailed representations of flowers, fruits, vegetables and wildlife in both her decorative and utility china and poreclain plates, vases, vessels and cooking utensils.
Marion also practices the ancient needlework art of smocking and creates beautiful one-of-a-kind dresses for little girls. Her smocked dresses are work of art unto themselves!
